Who we are
UrduBolo is a streaming app for series, movies, episodes and live TV. This policy explains what
information the app collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to the
UrduBolo Android app (package pk.urdubolo.app) and the services behind it.
Information we collect

We do not collect your contacts, your location, your call logs or your SMS messages.
Permissions the app asks for
Camera is used in two places only: to scan the QR code shown on your TV when you connect a Smart TV, and to attach a photo to a support ticket if you choose to. The app never records video and never uses the camera in the background.
Microphone is used only if you choose to record a voice note inside a support ticket. The app does not listen at any other time.
Notifications are used to tell you about new content and account updates. You can turn this off in your phone settings at any time.
How we use your information
We use it to sign you in, deliver content, save your watch progress, manage your subscription and the devices on it, answer support requests, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the providers needed to run the app, and only as far as they need it:
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications
- Google AdMob for advertising in the free tier
- Google Play Billing when you buy a subscription through the Play Store
- Our hosting provider, which stores the data described above
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account exists. Watch progress and support messages are kept while they are useful to you. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data as described below.
Deleting your account
You can ask us to delete your UrduBolo account and its data at any time. Email support@urdubolo.net from the address on your account with the subject Delete my account.
We remove your account, watch history and support messages within 30 days. Records we are required by law to keep, such as payment records, are retained for the period the law requires.
Children
UrduBolo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will remove it.
Security
Traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are stored hashed, not in plain text. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be announced in the app.
